25 volunteers braved a misty morning to work further up along College Road. 8 ton bags were filled with compostable waste. With 20 minutes to go to quitting time, the skies darkened over so we began to pack up. Alas, the forecasted thunder showers arrived and it rained and rained. We sheltered under the trees but finally, we made a run for it! Difficult to gain speed with a banner and two wheelbarrows. So, there are not so many photos this week.
Went back on Sunday morning and the place looked well. Thanks to everyone who helped out - especially our new volunteers. It may have been wet and a bit wild, but it was well worth it!
