Amazing crew out on Saturday despite it being high holiday season. Almost 30 volunteers put in a powerful morning’s work. Work was carried out at the Old Navan Road/ Auburn Avenue roundabout/ motorway areas.
Verges were cut back and paths cleared, pedestrian island edges were cleared of weeds and cigarette ends. Large bags of litter were collected from the undergrowth on Old Navan Road. Litter was also collected from the grassed areas next to the M50. The flowers under the Castleknock stone got a refresh. Directional signs were cleared of moss. Overall this important approach in to Castleknock looks all the better for the effort.
