Tree Planting Workshop

Earlier today we welcomed Sinead Fox, Environmental Awareness & Climate Action Department, Fingal County Council and Dale Threadwell of Naturally Wild to Castleknock.

For International Volunteering Day, Sinead organised a small socially-distanced tree planting workshop and almost 50 native Irish trees were planted in two locations on the green at Beechpark Lawn. Dale also entertained the children with a story about Harry the Hedgehog.

Really worthwhile exercise and hopefully the trees will flourish over time. Thanks Sinead and FCC.
