The Elves and the Shoemaker

As well as featuring on the cover of CTT's 2024 Castleknock Calendar, the Village Shoemaker in Castleknock is getting lots of attention today for another reason. An eye-catching elfish window display was added yesterday and it's well worth a trip to the village to check it out!

CTT asked local artist (and long-time friend and supporter of CTT), Brenna Crushell to come up with a window display based on the much-loved fairytale. And Brenna didn't disappoint. This is enchanting work indeed!

Children (young and old) will enjoy the magic in this little scene. Don't forget to bring along any shoes needing repair. John Rooney (and the elves) will be happy to help!
