Sat 2nd April 22 - Tree giveaway and plant swap

On Saturday, despite a damp start, 20 volunteers showed up to help out on the Sustainability Plant Stall and to carry out the weekly Sat Clean Up around the heart of the village. Local residents came along to pick up some native Irish tree whips to plant in their own gardens. We also had foxgloves, primroses, shasta daisies, raspberry and gooseberry bushes etc. etc. to give away. People swapped or shared their plants, exchanged best planting tips and very little was left at the end of the morning. After all the work (and fun), it was a quick hop in to Myo's for a welcome cuppa. Well done to one and all!
