Is the Cloud damaging the Planet?

A very thought-provoking documentary from Panorama was aired tonight about the impact of data centres on the planet. The volume of photos and emails on our phones and computers, backed up to the cloud, is sucking up water and using huge amounts of electricity - all to the detriment of the earth. Just 30 minutes long and well worth watching.
