Adopt a Leaf Cage with St Vincent's Castleknock College & CTT

St Vincent's Castleknock College is proudly working with Castleknock TidyTowns to adopt a leaf cage—a local action with a global impact. Yesterday, Transition Year Horticulture students worked together to collect leaves to create next year’s leaf mulch. Leaf composting is a simple, clean, and community-friendly process requiring only leaves, water, sunlight, air, and a little maintenance.

When this leaf mulch is harvested in a year, it will nourish Castleknock’s trees and pollinator beds, revitalizing the soil with organic matter—an impactful step in climate action.
